baby quilt

Going to do this for sew-along. Here's the WIP for a baby quilt I am doing for baby L. Not usually a pink person but I'm loving all the pinks going on here and that little vintage birdie fabric.

Part of my fabric stash.

The patchworks are all ready to be quilted.

exciting stuffs ahead!

I still can't believe when I got the email from Shari telling me that I was chosen to be one of her DT member for My Favorite Memories! :o and yes out of 100 over applicants! And I thought this DT call was tough as we have to go through 2 rounds of 'interviews'! I'm really thrilled and excited! I cant wait to start my very first kit - the Elsie line! All packed with super gorgeous, fun, colorful stuffs! Their forum board is one of the most happening board I come across and the members 'conversations' really cracks me up lol. Nevertheless, I'm thankful for this opportunity.

cute little friends

Paper crafting is fun thing to do with your little ones. I did these with C sometime back but haven't got a chance to photograph them till now. We actually did the flickr red bird too but it wasn't fit for a photography session as it was kind of "ill-treated" by C :D

The templates

And, we made these. Come meet our new flickr monkeys, dragonfly and beetle friends!

You could download more templates from - a great flickr monkey site. Have fun building these with your little kiddos!

It's live and more work to share

::Happy News:: Prima invited me to be their May featured guest designer. You can read more here.

April was a busy month for me! One layout I did for them last month using a boy's picture which is also one of my favorite picture of BP & V's son - such handsome little dude!

My younger sister is really sweet. She's a great marketing person and has been helping me to promote my work to her friends and colleagues. Here's one I made for them last month - it was framed up nicely for their director whom had return to Norway for retirement. I have got more 'orders' from her friends and colleagues and will be back for more updates.

And this was the original piece of my earlier layout. Friends who know me know that I try not to scrap in 12x12 due to storage issue hehe :p So, I changed to a 8.5x11 cardstock although I must say I prefer this piece more :)

Lastly, the latest additions for Purple Onion Designs gallery using some of their new stamps! The vintage postmark set is going to be featured in Creating Keepsakes June issue.

Two 6" x 12" layouts.

A typical work week.

The new vintage 2008 calendar stamp, love it! This is also a hyrid page.

Now each of us has a gallery at POD site. Kristi Contes is on her DT too! I can't wait for my new stamps, they were out a week ago and should be arriving anytime soon. Can't wait to play with them!

Here are some work I did using Purple Onion stamps last week. Do check back the gallery for more updated stuffs.

Laines work (May)

I should be able to show the layouts and projects now since they're all up at Laine's website. Product used are mainly from My Mind's Eye Tres Jolie collection and Heidi Grace Design.

long due

I've been tagged by Cathy to name 7 random things about me. So, here goes...

1.I got my driver’s license at the age of 19. Now, how long ago was that???

2.I was on the school volleyball team during my school days. Can you tell hehe?

3.I think I’m very lucky when comes to child birthing. Although my hubby wasn’t with me when I was delivering my elder one (he was infected with chicken pox! Good timing ya?) Luckily, labor was easy and a short 3 hours. Otherwise I think I would have blame DH for making me suffer lol. Baby #2 was cooperative too and labor took about the same time. I’m also proud to say I did not have epidural for both deliveries!

4. I don’t quite agree I’ve nice looking legs which everyone tells me so. I think I look kind of ‘unbalanced’? Big body + slim legs?? OMG, that sounds like an owl?!?! *Hoot Hoot*

5. I HATE lizards! Okay admit it, I’m AFRAID of them. But, if you need help to chase away roaches, look for me!

6. I love Capri and I have approx. 25 pairs of them in my wardrobe. Not forgetting my 5 pairs of Birkenstock which are too comfortable for my feet.

7. If I can choose all over again, I would choose to do interior design or illustration arts. I'm always on a look out for home decorating related stuffs and admire artworks done by the incredible artists out there! I wish I can shift home every 3 months so that I can shop for furnitures and stuffs!

Alright now, I’m tagging Christin, BP and Sri!

you know you've been

Scraplifted! Just two weeks back I received an email asking for permission to scraplift my work for her DT assignment. Yes, she is the talented, artistic Falyn Cahall. You know I’ve been following her blog on and off ever since she won the title for the last scrapper standing hosted by the dares last year. Of course I agreed, it such an honour! Not only I love Falyn’s work, her photography rocks too!

ETA:

And I've got more good news to share later! Goodies! Layouts done for Laines will be up on their website very soon I suppose.
