now I've got a set

tissue holder + cosmetic pouch! (I bought the wrong zipper, way too long for my little pouch :p) I have this thing for cosmetic pouch, so much so that I have many of them! Maybe I should really stop buying them & make more of these with my favorite fabrics. :) Cheap and personalized! Actually nice fabrics ain't cheap!

fabric tissue holders

I made these tissue holders - 2 different sizes, one that is the 'standard' size and the other one is the 'thicker' pack version. These are really simple to make and I finished them within 1/2 an hour I think. Doing simple crafts like this can be very addictive indeed and it makes nice little gifts for my girlfriends.
PS: I have to admit I'm NOT a tissue person, you can never find a pack of tissue in my bag. LOL!

I've also finished another craft work but I have yet to take a shot of it. Will post it soon!

fruitful trip . great finds

Today is the day when I am out alone without my girls - my precious 'me-time' which I seriously lack of. I have to plan my itineraries before I set off 10 am in the morning. All in all I went to 4 different places!! I must say I'm very happy with what I bought :D :D

And I've got good mail day today again. Will post picture tonight if I manage to stay awake *wink*

Till later...

arghh

I've accidentally deleted my earlier post! It was about Memory Makers who requested me to mail in my layouts for their upcoming 601 Great Idea Book.

first try on digital

While doing some of my paper scrapbooking projects, I did some digital layouts for Dragonflaire DT work. Seriously I never thought I can/want to try doing digital layout. Initially, I thought of doing hybrid pages but I guess I'm too lazy to print, cut out the digital elements and incorporate them onto paper layouts. Just too much work I thought. So here's what I did with the 9-5 Essentials (love this!) kit by Mlamarre designs (fully digital). Overall, I had fun and these took me 45mins to complete :D

We were challenged to create a project that we could do with our little one. Something simple, easy and yet creative. They are looking for something fresh & clever that can be put to use or go on display following a play date, in the home, jewelry, party d├ęcor, etc.

Here's what I did - My Little Toy Truck. I've got Cher involved in doing this little project. I gave her a few patterned papers to choose from and she chose the American Crafts paper! She then helped to apply the adhesive and paste the paper onto the carton box. I must say she loves the wheels most as she kept asking me what are those and can they be moved, so and so...hehe. Upon completing the project, I asked her what she would like to put into her little ' 'truck'? Her reply: Mummy I want to put cooking and started dumping her 'fruits', 'vegetables' and 'canned food' into it! (of cos mummy had to reorganize all the stuffs so that I can take some good shots of them) And oh she loves pulling the truck with the string attached all over the house :D I'm glad to get C involved in this little simple creation and I hope you all will like it too. :)

indulgence

The monthly open house at TVC has always been great as they are very efficient in bringing in the latest and greatest products. Seriously, I've not attend any classes since I started scrapbooking back then in Aug 2005. BUT, the class which TVC collobrates with Kah-Mei from Fontwerks is too tempting to be missed. The class kit includes many yummy products like clear stamps,Fontwerks, Scenic Route, Heidi Swapp, Paper Valise, 7Gypsies, Strano Designs, Making Memories and more. Oooohhh droooool! Ok, pictures time! The little orange dress Cher wore when she was 16 months has been put into good use again :D - a chic top!

her dimple finally! :D

weekends pictures

Pictures taken over the weekends. Love the pictures of B and C here. C just look so grown up like a little lady, I love her with this new hairdo - having shorter fringe does make her look more refreshing.

These were taken at my mother-in-law's workplace. Love that place!!! C totally enjoyed herself & busy exploring the whole place!!
